We are a locally owned greenhouse/nursery located 9miles east of Auxvasse. We grow all of your traditional bedding plants, along with geraniums, hanging baskets, perennials, and also trees and shrubs. The Veggie Patch is a family operation producing fresh vegetables, fruits and plants for the Columbia Farmers Market for 14 years. Our farm is located on land that has been in the family for 5 generations. The Veggie Patch raises a variety of vegetables, such as sweet corn, specialty pumpkins, winter and summer squash, sweet onions, and a large selection of other fresh vegetables from April through November.
About Us:
I founded my pottery studio in 1978, on the banks of the Missouri River,
and in 1980 expanded to gemstone jewelry and vintage glassworks with
precious metals. All of my ottery is wheel-thrown, slab-built and -assembled, using
impressions of plants and antique lace, and is functional in nature. I also
grow and sell a wide variety of house plants
and natural crafts. A proud member of the Best Missouri Hands artist guild
