About Us:
Every loaf from Uprise Bakery is baked fresh Saturday morning at our bakery in
downtown Columbia. We primarily offer naturally leavened bread, baked the way
bread has been crafted for centuries using wild yeast.
We bake baguettes, ciabatta, and our naturally leavened, crusty batard with
complex flavor and versatility. We offer sourdough wheat, multigrain, herb and
garlic, and other varieties. We bake for the epicurean, featuring unmatched
flavor and texture. We draw out the delicate flavors of the organic wheat,
caramelized in our hearth-baked crust. It's the miracle of bread. We love crusty
bread and so will you.
Also offering breakfast items: croissants, muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones
and scores of treats such as cookies, brownies, and our famous granola bars
