Shepherdsfield Bakery in Fulton bakes with certified organic grains and flours. We stone grind organic wheat and rye berries right here at our bakery, and of course, there are NO preservatives.
The Clovers Natural Food Stores in Columbia carry some of our products, and at Cafe Berlin you can enjoy some signature items that we custom bake for their menu.
Our full product line is available from our Country Store, as well as a selection of unique gifts.
We have been a continuous member of the Columbia Farmer's Market since 1996 and will be attending the market on Saturdays from the first Saturday in May through the last Saturday in September. We hope to see you there!

Every loaf from Uprise Bakery is baked fresh Saturday morning at our bakery in
downtown Columbia. We primarily offer naturally leavened bread, baked the way
bread has been crafted for centuries using wild yeast.
We bake baguettes, ciabatta, and our naturally leavened, crusty batard with
complex flavor and versatility. We offer sourdough wheat, multigrain, herb and
garlic, and other varieties. We bake for the epicurean, featuring unmatched
flavor and texture. We draw out the delicate flavors of the organic wheat,
caramelized in our hearth-baked crust. It's the miracle of bread. We love crusty
bread and so will you.

We have been gardening over 30 years and decided to build a Greenhouse. With the correct balance, giving greenhouse produce great flavor, we grow sweet greenhouse tomatoes, for an early spring and late fall crop. Combined with our outdoor gardens, growing a variety of vegetables & fruits all summer long and into the fall, with Missouri river bottom sweet corn, pumpkins and watermelons.
