Throngs of customers enjoy the Market

2010 marks the 30th anniversary of the Columbia Farmers Market. Community interest in fresh, local food continues to grow, as does the network of small farms and businesses that form the backbone of our market. Despite difficult weather and ecnomic conditions in 2009, the Market recorded a record customer count of 6,700 on one Saturday and saw consistent attendance and production. The 2010 market will again extend its season into December after a successful test last year; look for us until Christmas.
