What's New at the Columbia Farmers Market This Week? Week of: June 29 - July 5
Featured Product: PEACHES! Yes, we are watching the weather, counting the days, anticipating peach cobbler, peach & blueberry cobbler, peaches & honey ice cream, just peaches! The first of the Missouri peach crop may start rolling in Sat. July 5. Once peaches start coming, they will be available on Mondays & Wednesdays 4pm-6pm & Saturday mornings. Until then, green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, beets, onions, potatoes, squashes, and more are available. Blueberries, blackberries, cherries, are available. Plants are plentiful too.
Featured Entertainment: Eco Gitano will perform carribean & classical Spanish guitar this Saturday, July 5. Come wish Adrian congratulations as his wedding day is July 26!
July 12 our own Don Mayse from Show Me Beef will play piano!
Special Events: July 19 is CornFest. A good time will be had by all at the annual CornFest. Fresh roasted corn will be available. Northern Medicine will perform.
Other Notices: Please note, we are beginning the best part of the Missouri harvest season. Most any produce you can get on Saturday will be available on Mondays & Wednesdays, 4pm-6pm. If in doubt, call the Market 573-823-6889.

Come join us to kick off the public
fundraising campaign for the market pavilion. Walk through the potential
pavilion, outlined in lights and tents on its future footprint. Sample a
wide variety of locally grown and produced food and drink. Enjoy local
bands and an outdoor film screening. Most of all, come explore and share
your vision of the market with the community.
When: Saturday, July 26, from 7:00-11:00
p.m.
Where: Behind the ARC, corner of Clinkscales & Ash.
